  • This study aims to analyze the soundness of PT. Central Java Regional Development Bank in 2006 - 2009 using the CAMEL ratios that include aspects of the capital, productive assets, management, earnings and liquidity. Implementation of the health assessment of PT. Central Java Regional Development Bank done in a way to qualify some of the components of each of the factors which are components of Capital (Capital), Asset (Asset), Management (management), Earning (Profitability), Liquidity (liquidity) or abbreviated by the term CAMEL. CAMEL is a factor that largely determines the health of a bank predicate. These aspects with each other interrelated and inseparable. As a benchmark to determine the soundness of a bank after an assessment of each CAMEL component which is a variable of this study, namely to determine the outcome of a classified assessment of the bank's health rankings. The results showed that the level of health PT. Central Java Regional Development Bank for 4 years ie the period from 2006 to 2009 included in the healthy category. Rating of the 2006 included in the healthy category with a total credit value of 98.00, in 2007 classified as healthy with a total credit value of 98.25, the year 2008 included in the healthy category with a total credit value of 96.10 and in 2009 included in the healthy category with a total credit value of 98.50.
