- Measurement rotation angle type of sucrose solution sample (C12H22O11) using Portable Brix Meter has analyzed to determine its polarity. The materials used are fluid sugar solution,honey, low calorie sugar, and sugar with a concentration of 1% until 10%. The concentration of sucrose solution has negative correlation with type rotation angle. The increase concentration of sucrose C will decrease type rotation angle αo. Correlation between the concentration of sucrose solution and specific rotation angle for right dark pattern respectively expressed by the equation αo = 40.17o + 339.47o e-C/3,54 , αo = 14.13o + 315.68o e-C/5,19 , αo = 57.99o + 553.62 o e-C/1,81, αo = 58.84o + 539.57 o e-C/2,01. rotation angle type of sucrose solution depends on concentration of sucrose.
