- A research by reprocessing marine 2D seismic data in East Natuna Area at NS37 line has been carried out. Reprocessing did to improving sub-surface image in blind space of target area with better focus than former reprocessing. According to research in 1995, NS37 line impressed geologically because there a wheel which cross this line exists. However, there is random noise lying in stack section in that result. Former processing conducted by post-stack migration. However reprocessing conducted both by post or pre-stack migration. The result from former processing compared with reprocessing result at the end of process. The result of this reprocessing shows that pre-stack section image got significant improvement. The result could give better shear structure depicting in describing pre-stack section structure. Moreover, the result got improvement than former result in profiling reflector transmission of pre-stack section at 4000ms. This study really helps to improve and make better seismic reflector image, and make it easier to interpret.
