- Purchase system of train tickets using barcode based on microcontroller AT89S51 was created.The system is designed to facilitate train passenger for the ticket purchasing process. The system consists of 4x4 keypad, LCD dotmatrix 16x2, dc motor driver circuit, an optocoupler driver circuit, the minimum system microcontroller AT89S51 circuit, and a series of RS-232 serial communication. The system is activated when the ticket box is turn on.LCD dotmatrix will display the text to show the steps that must be done in the purchase of tickets. Thecard read by barcode reader, then enter the pin with 4x4 button keypad and press enter button.After that wait until delivery data process is completed.Data will be matched with the barcode on the card, if true then show the ticket purchase form on the monitor and ready for transaction. The system has successfully realized and can printed train ticket with the first match barcode card with pin code from the keypad, which is sent via serial communication between the microcontroller and the computer.
