- Along with human being civilization growth, gradient requirement energi also progressively mount and cause attenuate the fossil fuel as especial source energi. Therefore needed alternative renewable energy. Sungai Banjir Kanal Barat have potency energy which can be exploited as renewable energy source. The Micro Energy Alternator Hydro is one of the alternative energy that processing water potential energy conversion to electric energy of benefit to public life Planning of PLTMH started from survey location in Sungai Banjir Kanal Barat. Survey doneto get data of scheme in the form of head and water debit. The data applicable to determine the level of potency energy at PLMTH location. At planning PLTMH in Sungai Banjir Kanal Barat obtained data water debit entirely 9,2 m3/s, potency energy electrics equal to 231,05 kW. Electricity use equal to 30 kVA so that water water used in the plan PLTMH are 1,37 m3/s. Pipe penstock planning use pipe have diameter 0,87 m and thickness wall of pipe 1,05 mm.
