- Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system used for entering, storing, checking, integrating, manipulating, analyzing and displaying data related to positions of the earth's surface. Displays information of spatial data and non-spatial data is one of skills to the development of Geographic Information System that can be used to make an inventory of the school in this case particularly in the manufacture of high inventories. Inventory analysis of high school in Semarang was built through several processes in order to display the data spatial and non spatial data, this processing occurs in several places, namely processing at MapInfo for spatial data processing, Basic Map is used to connect between MapInfo and Visual Basic, while the Visual Basic is used to display an inventory of GIS applications from high school in the city of Semarang, this application is expected to facilitate the search for scattered high school in the city of Semarang.
