  • The purpose of research was to know the effect of fermentation with different levels of bolus on quality water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) leaves. Research was studied in Feed Science and Technology Laboratory, Animal Science Faculty, Diponegoro University. Variables measured were proximat component (crude protein and crude fiber), fiber component, VFA and N113 production and digestible energy. Research compiled in completely randomized design with 5 bolus levels and 3 replications. The level of bolus was 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 %.The research showed that there were significant increasing of quality water hyacinth (Eichl2ornio crassipes) leaves that fermented by different levels of bolus
