- Background: Breast cancer is the 2nd main cancer after cervix cancer in Indonesia. Medical treatments for cancer that need a lot of money make people try to find alternative treatment, such as using herbal medicines. Gynura pseudochina has proven can inhibit cancer cells proliferation by T cell activation and increasing IL-2. Aim : To observe the effect of Gynura pseudochina(GP) on Histological Grading of C3H Mice Inoculated with Adenocarcinoma mamma. Methods : This is an experimental study, using “The post test only control group design”. The samples were 20 C3H mice, randomized into 4 groups. Group K: given standard diet and inoculated with cancer cell. P1, P2, P3 are given by standard diet, inoculated with cancer cells and given with GP extract 0,12 mg, 0,25 mg, and 0,50 mg for each groups. Afterwards the adenocarcinoma mamma were made into slides then histology grading of each groups were examined using light microscope with 400x zoom. Results : The highest mean score of histology grading occured in group K. The comparison between K to P1,P2,and P3 shows significant differentiation. While the comparison among P groups don’t show signifiant differentiation Conclusion: There is a significant difference histological grading of the C3H mice inoculated with adenocarcinoma mamma after GP was given.
