  • Potato is one of the main vegetable commodities in Indonesia, but this productivity is still low. There are many deseases attacked to potato plants, especially by pathogenic mold. A study on utilization of Michelia champaca leaf extract in controlling the growth of Fusarium oxysporum mold. Ethanolic extract with concentration of 0,1,2,3,4 and 5 percent (w/v) has been tested on growth of Fusarium oxysporum mold in vitro. The pathogenic mold growth was determined by the mold diameter colonies. The result indicated that ethanolic extract of Michelia champaca leaf extract could control the in controlling the growth of Fusarium oxysporum mold. The ethanolic extract of Michelia champaca leaf extract could control the growth of Fusarium oxysporum mold from concentration of 1 percent and were linier with increased of Michelia champaca leaf extract concentration.
