- This research aims to describe the experiences of politicians and labors, who have different class position, in order to understand labors’ existence in both group’s point of view. It is based on intercultural communication perspective with emphasize on Standpoint Theory. This theory explains that individuals are active consumers of reality themselves, and that their experience is the most significant information source. The research found that diferent class position generates different perspective in order to understand labor’s existence. Politician produce symbolic engineering through political messages. In contrast, labor ignored those political messages and they believed that political messages are political propaganda and one-way and monologue in nature.
