- The Determination of wood’s volume depends on length and diameter of the wood. By far to search wood’s volume uses guide book from Perhutani. This search for the wood’s volume will be used for calculating the wood’s price. The process to count the price of wood is quite complicated because there are some additional price beside selling prices of basic wood like Diff, Surcharge, and price sawmill service. Because of that possibly counting wood’s price can make mistake for the result calculation. It causes wrong in make a note of transaction data. To solve these problems, a new computerized system is needed to ease the process transaction. Method that is taken to build the new system is waterfall method. This method suggest a systematic and sequential approach to software development that begins at the level and progress of the system through requirement, analysis, design, coding, and testing. Software that is producted is application system of selling transaction (ASTRA). ASTRA is developed using programming language Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 with DBMS Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Beside it’s used to ease search wood’s volume, calculating the wood’s price, and calculating price sawmill service, the usage of this application also to help create woods data report, wood’s stock report, revenue report, and selling report.
