  • Iman (faith) and tauhid (unity of God) are principles of life and the unity of Islam. This principle becomes motivator and director of life, as well as in the field of education. The education based on tauhid (unity of God) in the prophet era scored successfully exemplary humans being in various fields of science and charity. Manhaj tarbiyah (eeducation methodology) that was used by Prophet Muhammad to form his people consists of four, they are tilawah (reading holly Qur’an), tazkiyah (self purify), ta’limul kitab (teaching of holly Qur’an) and hikmah (philosophy), and ta’limul ‘ilmi (teaching of knowledge).This paper describes a reflection of monotheism in Islamic education. This paper explains that the task of Islamic education is explaining value of taqwa (god- fearing) continuously to the students theoretically and qudwah (model). Therefore, the students pay attention the Islamic education by their intellectual and feelings and conclude that the values of faith are beneficial, eternal, and glorious.
