- This study aims to assess the combined effect of biochar and NPK fertilizers on crop yields Phonska eggplant purple. This study was conducted from March to June 2016, for the preparation of planting to plant dipanen.Penelitian median was held in Dusun Bawang, Village Tunggulwulung, district lokowaru, poor town. Experiments on collated in a randomized block design (RAK) with two factorial consisting of two factors: Factor 1 biochar which consists of three levels, without biochar (control), 10 ton /ha and 20ton/ha and the second factor of NPK Phonska consisting of 4 levels, 50 kg /ha, 100kg/ha, 150kg /ha, 20 kg /ha. The results showed the application of biochar and fertilizer NPK Phonska no interaction on plant growth eggplant purple, eggplant results Namum interactions occur on the number of flowers and fruit diameter. Biochar application of 10 ton/ha a positive effect on the growth and yield of eggplant purple. Applications biochar 10 ton /ha and NPK fertilizer Phonska 50 kg /ha more effective in increasing the growth and yield of eggplant purple. Results eggplant purple rose 99% from 115, 04 g / plant (without biochar) to 229, 12 g / plant (with biochar). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kombinasi biochar dan Pupuk NPK phonska terhadap hasil tanaman terong ungu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan maret sampai juni 2016, karena persiapan median tanam sampai tanaman dipanen.penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Bawang, Kelurahan tunggulwulung, kecamatan lokowaru, kota malang. Percobaan di susun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu : Faktor 1 biochar yang terdiri atas 3 level, tanpa biochar (kontrol), 10 ton/ha, dan 20 ton/ha dan faktor kedua pupuk NPK phonska yang terdiri atas 4 level, 50 kg/ha, 100kg/ha, 150kg/ha, 20 kg/ha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi biochar dan Pupuk NPK phonska tidak ada interaksi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman terong ungu, Namum hasil terong terjadi interaksi pada jumlah bunga dan diameter buah. Aplikasi biochar 10 ton/ha berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terong ungu. Aplikasi biochar 10 ton/ha dan pupuk NPK phonska 50 kg/ha lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terong ungu. Hasil terong ungu meningkat 99% dari 115, 04 g/tanaman (tanpa biochar) menjadi 229, 12 g/tanaman ( dengan biochar).
