This research is based on news of the Government through the Ministry of Justice and
Human Rights (Kemenkumham) finally officially announced the dissolution of Hizbut Tahrir
Indonesia (HTI), following the issuance of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu)
No. 2 of 2017 on mass organizations.
This study aims to determine the development of coverage to obtain a picture of
pengkontssian an event, especially news reported on the online media kompas.com and
tempo.co in preaching the event to analyze news dissolution Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia on the
news.
This research method using qualitative descriptive method with research method of framing
analysis model Robert N. Entman.
The results of this study indicate that the dissolution of Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) as an
effort to protect the ideology of Pancasila and NKRI.
