- In the implementation of computer-based national test has many advantages, but in practice still found some flaws or problems. The phenomenon of the transitional national exam would be so significant in the first year of implementation of the National Examination of Computer Based in Sidoarjo. The purpose of this study to find out how the Pre-Trials and implementation of the activities of the National Computer Based Exam at SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo Regency Sidoarjo.Penelitian aims to describe the implementation of the national exam-based computer (Computer Based Test, CBT) in SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo Sidoarjo. This research method is a descriptive study with qualitative approach. The results showed as follows: (1) Pre Exam, in detail, among others: (a) Socialization UN CBT, (b) Verification Test facilities and infrastructure, (c)2 Training of Human Resources (Proktor, technicians, and students). (2) Examination, in detail, among others: (a) Preparation of technical (infrastructure), (b) Preparation of Human Resources (Proktor, technicians, and students). Computer-Based National Exam (Computer Based Test, CBT) in SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo has been planned and implemented well by doing socialization activities to students, means infrastructures already in the test verification and readiness of teachers involved in the national exam success-based computer.
