The delignification process is used to&#xD; remove compounds of lignin and pentos in bamboo, making cellulose becomes optimum.&#xD; Variables remain in pretreatmentprocess is bamboo powder 100 mesh size, the volume sulfuric acid as&#xD; much as 200 ml, water volume 3 liters, and the stirring speed 200 rpm. The free variables consist of heavy&#xD; bamboo 50-250 grams, delignification time is 30-150 minutes, and delignification temperature is 25-125(&#xB0;C).&#xD; The early bamboo composition of cellulose levels 42.4-53.6 (%), lignin levels 19.8-16.6(%), pentosan&#xD; levels 3.47- J.24(%), levels of extractive substances 4.5-9,9(%), water levels 15-20 (%), ash&#xD; levels 1.24-3.47 (%), and Si02 levels 0.1-1.78 (%). After pretreatment one obtained a reduction&#xD; in lignin levels 20-25 (%) and pentosan levels on bamboo, and . cellulose level was obtained&#xD; after delignification process by 40-50 (%).
