- Low-income residensial areas present and spreading in many regions, coloring spatial urban area. The inhabitants predominantly low-income people, residential areas is much in demand by most residents of urban areas because the price is still affordable. The existence of a residential neighborhood, not only consists of a building habitable houses as a means that is massive / solid, but also offset their open spaces that are void. Thus producing a void-solid compositions are balanced between the density of the building with open space. The open space located in a residential neighborhood is simple, there are covered with a layer of pavement (hardscape), but there is also an open space covered with soft grass (softscape), which is often referred to as green open space. By making observations in a residential neighborhood is simple, and conducted interviews on a number of respondents, the results obtained identification of green open space, which is distinguished by its shape, which is elongated and centripetal, based on the nature of its use, namely public and private, and based on its utilization, namely as a green line , parks and sports fields.
