  • Waste an industry where less than perfect processing and directly discharged into the environment will lead to pollution in the surrounding area. So also with the durian waste (rind) that is not used can cause environmental problems. In this study in trying a method using durian waste (rind) as material for electroplating wastewater treatment. With durian waste (rind) adsorption process as adsorbent divided into several sizes (mesh) is 50, 100, 150 and 200 mesh with contact time variation 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 minutes as the independent variable in the research with the speed of stirring and weight as an adsorbent fixed variables. After analysis using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectophotmeter) can be said within 25 minutes with 200 mesh size durian waste (rind) most well reduce levels of Pb in electroplating waste with percent of qualifying 68.46 %.
