  • One of the constraints of processing medical waste by using a rotary kiln incinerator is waste combustion chamber initially spinning changed into static. And in fact, there is no empirical data on the modified rotary kiln incinerator. This study aimed to assess the temperature and combustion time of the ability of a modified rotary kiln incinerators for destroying medical waste and to determine the optimum conditions of incineration of medical waste using a modified rotary kiln incinerator. Variabel in this study is the combustion temperature of 800°C, 900°C, 1000°C, 1100°C, and 1200°C. and then burning time of 80 minutes, 90 minutes, 100 minutes, 110 minutes and 120 minutes. The parameters of this study is the weight of medical waste after burned, heavy quality medical waste after burned, and the smoke quality of medical waste incineration.The results of research and data processing is concluded that the higher the combustion temperature, the combustion process will be better for the fulfillment of the calorific value for incineration process and the longer time then the combustion residue also increases the ability allowance.
