  • The development of transportation technology which is currently growing rapidly create competition in the provision of transport services to be very sharp and tight. The one is the provision of transportation services to the general public in order to achieve wide public convenience and satisfaction as a consumer in using transportation services that are essential for life. Praja Tour & Travel is a vendor that is engaged in travel agency. The research activities carried out at Praja Tour & Travel which located at Jalan Pamularsih wb 3 no. 314, RT 09, RW 02, Patangpuluhan Village, Wirobrajan District, Yogyakarta. Researchers chose research sites in Praja Tour & Travel because the company is engaged in the field of tourism which focused on his efforts to introduce the place - tourist attractions in Indonesia , especially in Java, Bali and the island of Lombok. In this study, to determine the marketing strategy at the travel agency Praja Tour & Travel. Data analysis techniques in this study is the information in the form of qualitative narratives produced in-depth interviews (in-depth interviews) and a questionnaire relating to the business strategy Township Tour & Travel in Yogyakarta to compete by using analysis of marketing strategies will then be drawn a conclusion SWOT .
