- In the lyrics of the song “bobrokisasi Borokisme” by Slank, the song describes about social criticism. The purple of this study was to determine the meaning of social criticism in the song lyrics “Bobrokisasi Borokisme” by Slank. Methods of data analysis in this study using qualitative research methods, interpretative semiology of Roland Barthes, the significance of two-stage method (two orders of signification). Analyzed using five kinds of code readability by Barthes, ie hermeneutic code, code Semik, Symbolic code, the code Proaretik, Gnomik code. For the meaning of a sign so that it can find and mark konotative denotative sign. In the second stage of connotative signs that mark will appear myths relating to the cultural community around. Conclusion on the meaning of the lyrics to “Bobrokisasi Borokisme” by Slank is that many problems experienced by the State of Indonesia as a result of the attitudes of government officials who act arbitrarily, which should benefit the people above anything else.
