  • Advertising is the process of delivering a message or information to some or all audiences by using media. One of the public service which is currently often aired by television stations are Sugar Levels in Children. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge Housewife In Surabaya About the content of public service advertising messages' sugar levels in children "on television. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Population of respondents in this study were mothers who are married households and recorded by the state, amounting to 100 people. The sampling technique used in this study is nonprobability sampling method is purposive sampling technique Sampling, data analysis techniques in this study using frequency tables. The results of this study is the level of public knowledge are mostly located in the medium category, it shows that the level of knowledge of mothers about the purpose of public service advertisements sugar levels in children on television are owned by the society has not fully know and understand the messages conveyed by advertisements community service sugar levels in children
