  • Advertising is considered as an effective message delivery technique. One of the public service ads "Jampersal" is currently often aired on television stations, which contains about guarantee delivery for the citizens less able. The purpose of this study was to determine how the level of knowledge housewife in surabaya about the public service ads version "Jampersal" on television. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. Population from which the respondents in this study is the housewife who was married and registred by the state, amounting to 124 people. Sampling technique using nonprobability sampling with accidental sampling method. Techniques of data analysis in this study using a frequency table. The results of this study is the knowledge level of public are mostly located in the high category, it shows that the knowledge of housewife about the message of public service adsJ ampersal fully comprehend and understand
