  • The Communications Pattern Of Single Parent To Form Child Emotional Intelligence. The purpose of study was to find out how the communications patterns of single parents in shaping adolescent emotional intelligence. In fact, a lot of emotional development known as emotional intelligence is often overlooked by many families, because there are many families who really prioritize intellectual intelligence (IQ) alone. Though emotional intelligence must be nutured and strengthened in every child, because emotional intelligence is closely associated with other intelligence, moral, interpersonal, and spiritual. In this study, researchers linked the phenomenon of communications patterns in a single parent with a child’s emotional intelligence theory of relationship development. Relationship development theory is used Sosial Penetration Theory. This theory or Social Penetration Theory real name is part of the development of the theory of the relationship or Relationship Development Theory. Thus the researchers analyzed the patterns of communication that form the emotional intelligence of children. Level of emotional intelligence of a child does not just happen. Good or bad depending on the child’s emotional intelligence of how single-parent communication patterns are applied to the child in the family.
