- Small industries simplicia in Magelang at this time experiencing problem.That is time drying the simplicia do not optimal because require time 3-5 days. This is due to lack of good drainage system. Frequent occurrence of continuous rain, the weather was cloudy, not just the dryer, thus resulting in a crude drug crops damaged or rotten, resulting in large losses in the small industry. The purpose of this research is to improve productivity and quality of dry simplicia to meet market standards. So marketing crude drugs not only in the area but can only penetrate the international market. In order to achieve the research objectives should be drier simplicia that can operate continuously without any dependency. Results or findings made in the study is the realization of appropriate technology or dryer simplicia that are environmentally friendly, easy maintenance, fuel relatively cheap and there around the industry, and can work continuously. The drier can work in any weather, so it works very efficiently and effectively so that will increase the productivity of small-scale industries simplicia. With the increase in the productivity of small-scale industries simplicia will increase local revenues, and improving standards of living, increased development and science and technology development in the future.
