  • This research was concerned with the public relations strategy PT.Pertamina in handling various social problems outside the company, the social problems will affect the image perusahaan.Sehingga to maintain and improve the company's image because of the social problems it PT.Pertamina conducting External Relations PT.Pertamina (Persero) UPMS V.Kegiatan External Relations UPMS V PT.Pertamina done to enhance the positive image perusahaan.Penelitian uses descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis using analytical techniques filling system. From the data analyzed, we conclude that the strategy used by the Public Relations PT.Pertamina UPMS V to enhance the corporate image is through activities such as External Relations; Promotion example Pertamina Way, Pasti Pas and 4C, Media Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility.Dengan action berbagasi CSR activities include economics, education, environment and health. This is done because the company also priority to the community on the importance of long-term development and shortterm.
