- Poverty becomes the primary reason people work as a migrant workers. One of the side effect of it, conflict and relationship deterioration happened in the family. On the bottom of it, children become neglected because the mother had chosen to apply for women migrant worker. Exchange theory seek marriages as the process of negotiating rights and duties between spouses. This research was conducted in Turus Village, Tanggulturus Village, Tuluangagung. Using indepth interview, this research comes to the conclusion that children whose mother going away from their childhood had a linear communication – which is lack of intens communication. The same result came when it comes to the husband-wife migrant workers’ communication. There are tremendous things that left unsaid.
