  • One of the important shallot diseases is moler caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cepae (Hanz.) Snyd. & Hans, causing great loss to the farmers in several main shallot fields. The aim of this research is to know incubation period and disease intensity of moler disease on many soil types and crop rotation patterns that were done by planting shallot in four different locations with different types of soil and crop rotation patterns, that is sandy field and rice field in Bantul, rice field in Brebes, and rice field in Nganjuk, on rainy and dry season. The results of the study showed the fastest incubation period 14.97 days and the highest average of intensity was amount to 38.51% found in Vertisol soil in Nganjuk shallot fields that were not planted alternately with rice, during rainy season. Key words: incubation period, disease intensity, moler disease, soil types, crop rotation patterns
