- In a manufacturing industry is very important management role, setting an absolute necessity in all fields. By performing a careful calculation and accompanied efficiency is expected to reduce the cost of production and raw material inventory costs to a minimum. Control of raw material inventory carried out once every month, to avoid shortages or excess inventory of raw material inventory. Total supply is too little may result in loss of opportunity to profit when the real demand is expected to exceed demand. So it does not interfere with the smooth production process that is underway in PT Kusuma Dipa Nugraha Mojokerto, Jawa Timur.. Given these problems, the research done with Silver Meal Heuristic Method so as to make the planning of raw material inventory control so as to ensure optimal and smooth operation needs in quantity production company with a minimum total inventory cost. The results showed that the total cost for raw materials Dolonide with Silver Meal Heuristic method produces an efficiency of 12.731., Total cost for raw materials Phospate with Silver Meal Heuristic method produces an efficiency of 9.544., Total cost for raw materials by using carbon Silver Meal Heuristic method produces an efficiency of 6.009. And the total cost for raw materials Silicate Silver Meal Heuristic method produces an efficiency of 10.671. So to the overall total cost of raw material inventory control real company issued during the months of 2010 (TCA) is Rp. 301,910,050,- whereas when using Silver Meal Heuristic method (TCC), the total cost of Rp. 270.996.000,- to obtain the savings amounted to Rp 30,914,050, - with 10.239 efficiency. Where is the Silver Meal Heuristic method produces a lower total cost compared with company policy..
