Free sex is to understand where a person can or want to have sex with whomever he/she wants, or on the basic consensual.The theme of sex is still the hot issues among the writers, so it means a lot of writers who make free sex-themed novel. Included in the novel SWASTIKA. The study aims to determine how the representation of free sex behavior depicted in the novel Swastika with research leksia exist in the entire text using a novel approach of roland barthes’s semiotic The theory used is roland barthes semiotic theory that divides the signal and reference to five code reading : Semik code , Simbolik Code, Proaretik code, and Gnomik code Conclusion of this research is how a young woman who ones difines freedom in the search for identity that ultimately it destroys her future and create a lifetime of regret.
