- This research is about a barcode application to count the number of visitors in the library of Akademi Teknik dan Keselamatan Penerbangan (Academy Cit Technical and Safety in Aviation - ATKP) Surabaya. With this application, a visitor, instead of writing manually on the librQlY guest book, can pass his member card-with its member code written in barcode- in front of a barcode scanner provided This application needs a barcode scanner to read barcode interfaced to computer. Computer would activate the solenoid to open librQlY door, if the barcode read is in the database. This application was built using Delphi programming language.
