- Adenium obesum represent the crop having bar very artistic and very beautiful flower, and also can form the very big cusp. Media represent the nutrisi which is needed to grow and expand. This research aim to to study the media for growth and growth of Caudex Adenium obesum from various treatment of media mixture. Research arranged in factorial completly randomize design, with three factors, the first is combination kinds of media there the form of sand with the charcoal of randu and sand with the chaff charcoal. The second is dose of sand media with the charcoal of randu or sand with the chaff charcoal, that is ( 1 : 0,25) and ( 1 : 0,5). The third factor is doses manure fertilizer that is 0; 0,25; 0,5. Every combination repeated 3 times. This research is done in screen house of Soil Science Agriculture Faculty. The result of research got that treatment with diversified plant media have signifikan effect for crop, especially diameter caudex, wet weight and dry weight of plant. Treatment P2S2K1 there is charcoal with dose ( 1 : 2) added by manure fertilizer dose ( 1 : 1) giving the highest caudex forming diameter. Keywords :Media diversification, Caudex and Adenium obesum
