- These last recent years the housing at the river’s flood plain area get more attention than the former years. This is due to the usage of the river’s flood plain area get more and more deviated so that it causes the emergence of unhealthy housing environment. Using case and field research methods, through qualitative approach tried to plan some rearrangements the river’s flood plain area at Dinoyo Tenun, Surabaya. The research results indicate that Dinoyo Tenun society is a poor society but still has good potensial quantity of human resource. Therefore in the rearrangement of the river’s flood plain area need some facilities which are able to increase the quality of life this society through economic-based activity. Key words : river’s flood plain area, facility of economic-based activity
