- This paper assumed that the batik industry development happened as long as local wisdom itself. Many years ago, batik at Pekalongan was grew up as well as people activities. But there is not means without many problem, for example the capability of batik industry to cope business environment change, and other challenges. Then batik cloth has been transforming from non tradable thing into commercial thing. This research aims to descript how the local wisdom affected the batik industry, by religion, culture, common sense and other relationship perspectives. By case study methodology, this research aims to learn about a social cultural traditions, religion, myths and many else from the people. On qualitative perspective, all of that were meaningful to understand about how the local wisdom which base on values, morality, harmony, justice have a deep linkage with the economy development. And then successfully bring batik from local into national identity and as national wealth.
