- Learning at the College is essentially to develop three concepts of teaching. The first is that the task of teaching is defined as delivering authoritative material or demonstrating procedures, which can be explicit or implicit otherwise. It usually uses traditional teaching methods. The Second is that the task of teaching is to organize the students’ activities. In this view, teaching is a process that involves the articulated techniques designed to ensure that the students learn. The used method should be psychologically motivate students so that they are ready to learn like giving reward and funishment, discussion and seminar classes. The third is that teaching is to make students learn. Teaching and learning are like two sides of a coin which are inseparable. To teach, study the students and the materials are related to each other by a system. To teach isunderstood as a process of cooperation with the students to help transform their understanding. In other words, to teach is to help students learn. To maximize the learning to become more meaningful, contextual teaching and learning can be an alternative for learning at the college.
