- This study aims determine of differences in effect of watching the film Penyalin Cahaya on the motivation to defend victims of sexual harassment. Cases of sexual harassment can occur anytime and anywhere, including in academic institutions. However, reporting of acts of sexual harassment on campus is still low due to power relations. The existence of the film Penyalin Cahaya which tells a story about sexual harassment has the aim that audiences can create a safe space for victims of sexual harassment, so that it can help reduce the number of cases of sexual harassment. This research used quantitative methods with experimental approaches and used Social Learning Theory. Data was collected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique with a population of Fishum students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and produced a sample of 96 respondents. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, it can be seen that the magnitude of the effect for the experimental group is 38.94% and the control group is 22.21%. This means that respondents who watched the film Penyalin Cahaya had a greater influence than respondents who did not watch the movie. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted.
