In solving the
problem of poverty, the government has a very important role. When viewed from
the poverty rate by province in Indonesia in 2021. There are ten provinces with
the highest poverty rates in Indonesia, namely the provinces of Papua, West
Papua, NTT, Maluku, Gorontalo, Aceh, Bengkulu, NTB, Central Sulawesi, South
Sumatra. Therefore it is necessary to conduct research on the factors that can
affect poverty in the ten provinces. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze
the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Human Development Index (IPM)
and Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) which are suspected of having a strong
influence on poverty.
The data used in this study is secondary data which is quantitative in
nature which consists of annual data of GRDP, HDI, and UMP variables. In this
study, the Random Effect Model (REM) analysis was used in panel data
regression using time series data and cross sections for 2016-2021. The results of
this study indicate that of all the independent variables that can affect the poverty
rate, only the Human Development Index (IPM) variable, while the Gross
Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP)
variables have no effect on the dependent variable. Simultaneously GRDP, HDI
and UMP have been shown to have a significant negative effect on poverty in ten
Indonesian provinces for the 2016-2021 period.</description><date>2022-12-30</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><identifier>https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/55824/1/18108010032_BAB-I_IV-atau-V_DAFTAR-PUSTAKA.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><identifier>https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/55824/2/18108010032_BAB-II_sampai_SEBELUM-BAB-TERAKHIR.pdf</identifier><identifier> Umi Mai Sarah, NIM.: 18108010032 (2022) PENGARUH PDRB, IPM, DAN UMP TERHADAP TINGKAT KEMISKINAN (STUDI KASUS DI 10 PROVINSI INDONESIA PERIODE 2016-2021).
