This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. To test the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation, reference materials, and member check. The results of this study are the processing of the collection of Javanese ancient manuscripts at the Pura Pakualaman Library including the procurement, inventory, classification, cataloging, physical completeness, and shelving processes. The processing consists of 251 written manuscripts and 525 printed manuscripts. Processing of the collection of Javanese ancient manuscripts at the Pura Pakualaman Library using the K.G.P.A.A. Pakualaman version of the guidelines. Paku Alam IX. The processing guidelines are only verbal or not written. The processing of the collection of Javanese ancient manuscripts is carried out by the abdi dalem widyapustaka (manager of the Pura Pakualaman Library).
