- This research was entitled “Imitation Behavior of Students After Watching Make-up Tutorial Content on YouTube (Qualitative Descriptive Study on Communication Studies Students 2016 UIN Sunan Kalijaga).” The purpose of this research was to found out the imitation behavior among communication science students after watching the make-up tutorial content, how the motives of the informants watching the beauty vlogger content. The actions of the informants after watching the beauty vlogger content, and how to interpreted the existence of the beauty vlogger in their lives. The research method used by the researcher in this research was descriptive, with the type of research was qualitative. The data collection technique used in this research was a field study, named field observations and in-depth interviews. The selection of the informants was done through an observation process. Based on the results of the study, it obtained the various motives from the informants for watching the beauty vlogger's content, one of the motive was due to the encouragement factor in the informants to add insight and knowledge about beauty.
