- Macroeconomics is an overview of economic conditions that occur at any time and can affect many people, companies and markets and conditions of collecting zakat funds at zakat institutions. This research aims to describe the macroeconomic influence on the collection of zakat Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS RI) and use the governance of institutions as moderation. Independent variables (x) in this study are macroeconomics, namely inflation, gold prices and Gross Domestic Product (GDP), dependent variables (y) namely the collection of zakat funds and moderation variables namely corporate governance. This research utilizes the National Zakat Index (NZI) to measure the governance of BAZNAS RI institutions. The approach used in this research is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) model and ordinary least square (OLS) method. The technique used is a non probability sampling technique or non random sampling where the object of study in this study is the BAZNAS RI. The results of this study show that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has a positive effect on the collection of zakat funds, while the price of gold and inflation negatively affect the collection of zakat funds. The analysis of moderation variables shows that governance can moderate the positive influence of macroeconomics on the collection of zakat funds.
