- This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and aggressive behavior in PS Sleman football supporters in Yogyakarta. Another purpose of this research was to find out effective contribution of relation between emotional maturity and aggressive behavior on supporter of PS Sleman football club. The sampling technique in this study using a quota sampling technique. The analytical method used in this research is a correlational research method with a total sample size of 100 people, using a scale of emotional maturity based on Katkovsky & Gorlow's theory (1976) and a scale of behavior according to the theory of Buss & Perry (1992) as a means of data observation with each -Obtain alpha coefficient (reliability) of 0.928 and 0.920, respectively. The data analysis with Pearson product moment correlation method. The results of the were analysis show that the variable emotional maturity and aggression behavior has r -0.351 and a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05). It indicated that there is a negative relationship between aggressive behavior and emotional maturity. This means that there is a very significant negative relationship between emotional maturity and aggression behavior. The higher the emotional maturity, the lower the aggressive behavior, conversely, if the lower the emotional maturity, the higher the aggressive behavior. The amount of the effective contribution of the emotional maturity variable to aggression behavior is 12.3%. Thus the research hypothesis is accepted.
