  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and work environment on employee performance with job decision as an intervening variable at PT. BPRS Sukowati Sragen. The dependent variable in this study is performance. The independent variables in this study are compensation and work environment. While the intervening variable in this study is job satisfaction. The sample used was 33 employees. The sampling method used purposive sampling, which is a technique to determine research samples with certain considerations aimed at making the data obtained more representative. Collecting data through distributing questionnaires and interviews. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression techniques. The results of the study state that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, the work environment has no effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the work environment has no effect on job satisfaction. Compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. While the work environment has no effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
