  • This study aims to examine the effect of non-cash payments on the money supply in Indonesia. The currency in circulation in the community is the money supply used in this study. Non-cash payments in this study are represented by three payment transaction schemes, namely E-money, Card-Based Payment Instruments (APMK), Debit Cards and Credit Cards. To annalize the relationship between the non-cash payment and the money supply, this study use Error Correction Model (ECM) for it . The results showed that the long-term relationship between debit card transaction value, debit card transaction volume, credit card transaction volume, electronic money transaction value and electronic money transaction volume had a positive effect on the money supply, while credit card transaction value had a negative effect. Then for a shortterm relationship, the value of debit card transactions, the volume of debit card transactions and the value of credit card transactions have a positive effect, while the volume of credit card transactions, the value of electronic money transactions and the volume of electronic money transactions have a negative effect on the the money supply.
