- This study aims to analyze the effect of the rupiah exchange rate, exports and imports on indonesia‟s foreign exchange reserves in the period 1985–2019. The data used are foreign exchange reserves, exports, imports, and the rupiah exchange rate. The analytical model used in this study is multiple regression using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and using time series data. Data obtained from the central statistics agency (BPS). The result show that the exchange rate of the rupiah and exports had a positive and significant effect on foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia during the 1985 – 2019 period. While imports do not show the effect of no significant effect on foreign exchange reserves.
