- This Study aimed to determine how to use of electronic journals in Emerald database among students of library science UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research using quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires, and interviews. This study used 83 sample of 485 populations. Sampling with the incidental sampling. Measurement data using a likert scale with 4 answer options. Data analysis using Grand Mean. The results of the study showed the value of the Grand Mean of 2,804 located in the interval of 2.50 < X ≤ 3.25, and the mean utilization of electronic journals Emerald as a source of learning among the students of Library Science UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta included in high categories. Variable utilization of electronic journals consists of 5 sub-variables, namely the frequency of utilization of electronic journals, access to electronic journals, the process of information retrieval, the purpose of the utilization of electronic journals,and action on the search results. Sub-variables have an average value of that sub variable the purpose of the utilization of electronic journals with a value of rat-average of 3,017. While the sub-variables have an average value of the most low that is subvariable frequency of electronic journal with a value of 2,276. Through this research is expected to increase the utilization especially electronic journals Emerald and electronic journals in general.
