- This study aims to determine the effectiveness of storytelling activities to improve drug adherence in children with HIV AIDS at the Victory Plus Foundation Yogyakarta. This research use quasi experiment research method. The subjects of this research is children 4-6 years old with HIV AIDS who were undergoing antiretroviral treatment therapy and had low drug adherence compliance scores as much. In this research the total number of subject is one child with HIV AIDS. In this research purposive sampling be applied to select the subject. Instruments or data collection tools used in the form of medication compliance scale. The data of this research are analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis method. The result of data analysis showed that there was improvement of medication adherence in the experimental group after receiving treatment in the form of storytelling activity, this can be seen from the increase of post-test score.
