  • This research is motivated phenomenon regarding the problems faced by on employee of PT. Nusantara Building Industries in doing his job. Distrust in finishing a job they lived would make it fall into the attitude of despair. Given this reality, not a few of them who resigned in his work, for fear of being scolded by the boss because they cannot work well. The lack of a sense of optimism that had made him stress and blame fate. This study was a quantitative correlational research aims to determine the correlation between religious maturity and optimism in the work. Subjects in this study is 100. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Religious maturity is measured with the religious maturity scale. Religious maturity scale consists of 30 items valid. Valid items have p < 0.001 is the significance range of 0.000 - 0.001. Religious maturity scale has a reliability coefficient of 0.684. While on the optimism of working was measured with an optimism scale consisting of 45 items is valid. Valid items have p < 0.001 is in the significance range of 0.000 - 0.001. Optimism scale has a reliability coefficient of 0.932. Correlation test use product moment correlation technique were performed using SPSS version 16.0 for window6s. The results shows a correlation coefficient (r) religious maturity with optimism in the work of 0.385 with significance level p = 0.000 where p < 0.01. It shows that there is a positive correlation between religious maturity and optimism in the work on employees of PT. Nusantara Building Industries, District Karangtengah Demak.
