  • Occupational Health and Safety is the global issue affecting production competitiveness of a company where the fluctuation case of work accident is highly influenced by the implementation of Occupational Health And Safety Management System and human behavior psychologically related to motivation and their performance. This research aimed to find out and analyze the relationship Occupational Health And Safety Management System (SMK3) elements toward work motivation and performance of production staff employee of fish processing company in Kendari Ocean Fishery Port industry area. This research used mix method which are cross- section design and descriptive analysis. The research subject were production staff workers in 3 different companies in Kendari Ocean Fishery Port area, with a number of samples are 83 respondents which was measured by questioners. The used analysis was univariate analysis, bivariate analysis, and multivariate analysis by using person product moment correlation test and multiple regression with Fishers test. The result of this research showed that there was a simultaneous significant relationship among each variable namely SMK3 elements and work motivation which contributed 70.6%, SMK3 elements and performance which contributed 78.2% and simple regression result between work motivation and performance which contributed 76.4%. This research concluded that SMK3 element variables had a direct positive relationship with motivation and performance, likewise the partial relationship between motivation and performance. The invention indicated the importance of SMK3 application in company in order to improve motivation and employee performance.
