- This research discusses about the process of inheritance implementation in the adat law community of Sasak Ethnic, located in Rembitan Village, Central Lombok. This research covered the adat law community of Sasak Ethnic in Rembitan Village, Central Lombok, practice of inheritance implementation, and reason of the adat law community of Sasak ethnic, Rembitan Village, Central Lombok, still performed the adat law community of Sasak ethnic. This research is empirical law research, a research conducted directly in field to obtain primary data, besides that, a research was also conducted in a literature research to obtain secondary data. This research is descriptive study, taking research location in the adat law community of Sasak ethnic in Rembitan Village, Central Lombok. Research subjects in this study are indigenous people who have been carrying out the process of inheritance. Respondents and informants were determined by purposive sampling. The research used qualitative analysis, namely, classifying and selecting data obtained from field research, then associated with theories obtained from literature study as to gain answers to the proposed problems. Results of research indicated that the implementation of inheritance in the adat law community of Sasak Ethnic in Rembitan Village, Central Lombok, was conducted according to what was implemented by the community following the patrilineal relationship systems, namely, individual inheritance system. The implementation has been conducted since the inheritors still lived. Reason of the community in Rembitan village still implemented the inheritance of Sasak Ethnic because decision of the adat law community has been established since their ancestors.
