  • The purpose of this research is to analyze and to know competitive strategy of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribusi Wilayah I to compete in downstream natural gas industry. Qualitative analysis method is used on this research and using two analysis tools namely SWOT Analysis and Value Chain Analysis. SWOT Analysis is used to and evaluate strength, weakness, opportunity and threat which is faced by the company, as the important factors to the company and its relevances is identified by Value Chain Analysis. This research concludes that PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribution Region I using best price strategy with best practices of cutomer service and maximize the use of technology to create sustainable competitive advantages.
